第六代陽極棒以高純度鉛錫為原料，經過高壓力擠壓設備熱擠壓成型。其內部結構致密度高，導電性能好，沉積速度快，電鍍速度得到提高，在陽極掛進槽內使用時，可直觀地看到槽電壓下降。經過高壓后的陽極棒，在強度上也得到很大的改善，不會因電流過大而彎曲變形。
